Dear Families,
Thank you for your patience the last few days as we have worked on implementing the Bobcat Academy. As with any new program, we have had to monitor and adjust as we go to make things as seamless as possible for students, staff, and parents.
Below are a few reminders and procedures for the after-school program:
- Students involved in local sports practices on Tuesdays and Thursdays will be released at 5:15. Students will be at the front door ready to go at 5:15 on those days so they can make it to practice on time. (Thank you to the parents who came up with this idea!)
- If your child needs to be picked up early on any particular day, and this will be a regular occurrence, simply let Pam Forga or Jill Jones know. (For example, your child needs to be released every Wednesday at 4:45, email or call Mrs. Forga pforga@bobcat.k12.ar.us or Mrs. Jones jjones@bobcat.k12.ar.us and let them know. Your child will be ready at that time.)
- If you need to pick your child up early for any other reason (unexpected or not a regular activity, etc) throughout the week, call the Intermediate School at 870-480-4647. The call will automatically forward to a site coordinator who will bring your child to the front of the building.
We hope this information helps clarify pickup procedures. Again, thank you for your patience and for sending your child to the after-school program!
